Clare Arthurs

Biography

Clare Arthurs is the litigation and arbitration Professional Support Lawyer. Formerly a commercial and public law litigator, she uses her extensive experience of commercial litigation to keep the Litigation and Arbitration Team up to date with recent legal developments. She organises training and seminars for the fee earners, and is responsible for drafting and collating precedent documents and other know how for fee earners to use. Clare is also a member of Manches’ Risk Management Committee.

Clare also co-ordinates, organises and edits or drafts the Litigation and Arbitration Team’s publications, both to clients (in the form of e-bulletins and the bi-monthly Commercial Litebites, which can be found in the publications section of the website) and in the legal press.

She regularly writes for the legal press, including journals such as New Law Journal, Solicitors Journal, Commercial Litigation Journal and Butterworths Costs Newsletter.

Clare speaks fluent German and good French.
